Understanding

Knowledge and education are for understanding not intelligence. Intelligence leads to pride which leads to destruction. The fear of the Lord leads to knowledge and education which understanding which leads to building up. 

Politics is talked about today like gossip. Gossip is iceberg lettuce it tastes kind of good but has no real lasting value. People seem to enjoy talking about their ideals of politics but most people are not interested in coming to an understanding who or what.

Self responsibility

Ok, self responsibility is difficult. As you can see by the length of time since my last post. This blog started as part of my habit forming. I am grown tired of myself as well as others. By blogging I will be able do both but in the best way keep myself responsible.  This blog was going to be a rant against society. However, it is going to become something of what I really want which is to hopefully have a discussion with you. I truly believe today society is very polarized so it is very difficult to hold a real conversation about anything.  I have learned through experience that people go through times, especially as youth, where we are polarized. The question is how do we teach ourselves about dualism. Where we are open to both sides even when we have strong beliefs and feelings about something. Customer Service

I work and have most of my life in customer service and one thing I think makes a huge difference is when you provide the service without really expecting anything in return. Or depending on the make sure the job making sure that the is in way most convenient for the customer and not for the person putting it out.  Attitude in every area of life needs to focus on others but especially in customer service. Just a thought about the term “customer service” which to me seems to imply for service of customer. I’m pretty sure that all of us have had a few really bad experiences with customer service. Best way to provide the best customer service, even if it is to your love ones, is the Golden Rule “Do onto others as you would have them do to you.” I was thinking about this on the way home from work today and thought that if I wanted to do this for Christ I had to make it something I didn’t really have to think about.
