Body Building is not about a program or a course. It is at abiding in Christ and since we are the Body of Christ we need to start learning to abide here and now. The main part of abiding is getting to know and understanding our brothers and sisters. How do we do that, we slow down and listen to each other.  A body’s part communicate all the time to function correctly. The body understands that it has to work together as the head directs or otherwise it dies. So, why does the Body of Christ think that we can survive? How do we change the attitude that our relationship with Christ is a personal thing? The New Testament regularly points towards oneness in Christ.

I work and have most of my life in customer service and one thing I think makes a huge difference is when you provide the service without really expecting anything in return. Or depending on the make sure the job making sure that the is in way most convenient for the customer and not for the person putting it out.  Attitude in every area of life needs to focus on others but especially in customer service. Just a thought about the term “customer service” which to me seems to imply for service of customer. I’m pretty sure that all of us have had a few really bad experiences with customer service. Best way to provide the best customer service, even if it is to your love ones, is the Golden Rule “Do onto others as you would have them do to you.” I was thinking about this on the way home from work today and thought that if I wanted to do this for Christ I had to make it something I didn’t really have to think about. Everyone I have ever teach on Peter’s denial is because of fear. I totally disagree I believe he probably did it out of trying to be ready to fight for Him. Read the Gospels again or for the first time. If it was out of fear what was he doing there? If you read the account before Christ was arrested and just as He was Peter had his sword ready. I think that why Peter wept bitterly.  He shows that it’s when we think we have best plan for Christ that we get ourselves into trouble. Like I said most people say it was fear but if you really look at what happened you will notice that it fear doesn’t seem to be there. Listen to the way he answers the people because to me it sounds like he trying protect his position. When we are trying to protect our positions, defending Christ, is when we say things that might not always be correct.  I think Peter was trying to keep a position so that when Christ called for enforcement or protection he would be ready. The thoughts I have about these verses is so out there that I don’t know how to write them down. The first thing I think is that we don’t understand what True wisdom is. For in these verses God tells us that Christ is the True wisdom so right there we can see that our ideas of “Wisdom” is way off from the Truth. I think that when we humans think of wisdom we think of something that will get us some kind of notability with other humans when it’s about our relationship with Christ that’s more important.  Bathing in His light will transform us beyond anything we can imagine. Imagine being like Enoch whom God just took so that he was no more. How about Moses the friend of God or King David whom had a heart after God. Those men give us hope. Plus Mary the mother of Jesus who was brave enough to say to the angel let be as you say. What encouragement these people give with the ideal of seeking the Wisdom of God.

Most of us have probably heard this said, that person either acts or does not act like a Christian.” What is that based on?  How can anyone Christian or not say what a Christian should act like? For one, that implies that Christ actually taught something we should live up to. More than that it really saying if what He taught was true then what He said about Himself was true. So, again I ask, how can we say what a Christian should act like? If you think that you have the right to judge if someone is living like a Christian or not are you not claiming to be Christ? By saying we know how a Christian should act is the same as saying we are like the Teacher (see Mathew 10:25) to see how the Teacher felt about it.  The funny thing about this statement is that it also implies that the person saying it does not have to act the same way.
